Vince O”Rourke worked extensively in teaching and educational planning before being appointed the first lay person as Director of Catholic Education in Brisbane Archdiocese in 1983.  Retired in 1998, Vince established a successful consultancy business until called to be full-time carer for wife, Margaret, in 2000.  The book is both a love story and memoir of Vince’s emotional journey as full time carer for his beloved wife.  A must read for all those who are either caring for loved ones or who work in the community and within residential care agencies.  To coincide with National Alzheimer’s Week, Vince will share his journey at a free author event
