Bookshop

At Mary Ryan's Hervey Bay we presently have two vibrant bookclubs operating. One group meets on the first Thursday of the month at 9.30am.

The second Book Club meets on the third Tuesday of every month at 3.30pm.

If you are looking for that special gift but don't know what to purchase, our convenient Gift Cards will eliminate the guess work for you. Our Gift Cards can be redeemed in the bookshop, ABC section, or coffee shop. Just ask our friendly staff for assistance.

At Mary Ryan's Hervey Bay, you can choose to dine in air-conditioned comfort in our coffee shop or dine alfresco in our shaded outdoor area. Our coffee shop staff pride themselves on serving the best coffee in Hervey Bay. As we head into the cooler weather, we've added an Italian hot chocolate to our range of hot beverages - bound to be a favourite for those who love their chocolate! In addition to this, we have sourced a new range of mouth watering chocolates and florentines.  These can be purchased individually to enjoy with your coffee or gift boxed for a special occasion gift. Call in and be tempted!

Why not meet a friend at Mary's and try our delicious range of homemade cheese cakes and slices, or let us tempt you with our exclusive selection of cakes and biscuits? Our point of difference in our coffee shop is our exclusive selection of sweet treats. Plus our sandwiches, wraps, and paninis are all made fresh daily. Whatever your fancy, you won't be disappointed at Mary Ryan's.

Try our Dutch Pancakes (poffertjes) with maple syrup or berries and cream/ice cream. Delicious! These are a popular choice with our regular customers.

Group bookings are welcome for special occasions, club meetings, or parties. Please advise our staff in advance for catering purposes so that we can ensure your visit is comfortable and memorable.

Location - Hervey Bay

Mary Ryan's Hervey Bay is located in the busy shopping and business centre at Bay Central, Pialba. Mary Ryan's is a unique bookstore with the addition of a coffee shop and in-store ABC Centre.

You will find us on the corner of 5/15 Central Ave, between the Post Office and ANZ Bank, and directly across the road from Stocklands shopping plaza and the bus terminal in Hervey Bay. Ample parking is available right outside the store and we are easily recognisable by the ABC Centre and green Mary Ryan logos. Local buses run regularly to and from the bus terminal just across the road at Stocklands shopping Plaza.
